Motocross racing is my first real personal interest. I always had an interest in cars, and mechanical things, due to my family influence, as my Dad was a Fitter and Turner. The whole family seemed to be mechanically inclined. .

My first 'bike' was a Deltek Rock Hopper mini bike. My school friend Mark (who still goes Karting with me), 2 x David's and others, formed a bit of a group. We would spend our week-ends down the DMR waste land at the end of Eyre St, Chifley and just ride and ride.
